Description of awareness programme

A financial Awareness Programme at Kinnaur (H.P) was conducted on April 5, 2017, in coordination with District Administration of Kinnaur distt. The programme was chaired by Sh. Nirmal Chand, Regional Director, RBI, Chandigarh and was presided over by Dr. Naresh Kumar Lath, Deputy Commissioner of Kinnaur Distt. The programme was attended by Panchayat Secretaries, Sarpanchs and large number of Anganwadi workers of Distt. Kinnaur, (H.P). It was the unique effort of Chandigarh Office to spread the financial awareness at grass root level regarding Non-Banking Financial Companies in remote villages, through Panchayat Secretaries, Sarpanchs and Anganwadi Workers. Financial Awareness posters were distributed for deeper dissemination of financial awareness/education among all the participants, so that they may use them for spreading awareness in their respective operational areas. The programme was highly appreciated by the participants. The event was well received by the print media.
