Description of awareness programme

RBI, Shillong conducted two Investors’ Awareness Programme at Mawroh Laitdom, West Garo Hills of Meghalaya. The programmes were attended by 60 villagers along with the Village Headman. The participants were cautioned against falling prey to operators to unknown entity promising investment schemes with high returns. They were advised not to get lured by fake promises of offering high returns unrelated to the market realities.
