Description of awareness programme

A financial awareness programme was conducted by the Department of Non-Banking Supervision, Chennai at Puducherry on September 15, 2015 in coordination with SEBI. Fraudulent companies by issuing false propaganda through media mislead public. Most of the time it was poor people who fall prey to such misleading advertisement and loss their entire savings. Though the regulators and the enforcing officials play their role, the public were asked to be cautious while making investment or taking loans to safeguard their interest.
