Description of awareness programme

DNBS, Jaipur participated in a Mega Legal Awareness Event of Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLA) and conducted an Investor Awareness Programme on June 26, 2016. The programme was held at Sainthal District Dausa during Mega Legal Awareness & Public Welfare Camp organized by RSLA. The programme was chaired by Hon. District & Sessions Judge, Dausa cum Chairman District Legal Services Authority and attended by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional Collector Dausa, staff & officers from various departments of State Government, Sarpanch and members of nearby Panchayat Samit. Around 450 members of public were present in the programme. The gathering was apprised of precautions to be taken before investing their hard earned money and made aware of the risks associated in ‘Get Rich Quick Schemes’. They were also cautioned about offers of loans at very low rates of interest and fake SMSes and Emails. Pamphlets of advertisements issued by RBI, financial literacy material and booklets on Non Banking Financial Companies were distributed through stall in the camp. Few people raised queries / problems related to banks which were replied to.
